JOB / PAID WORK WANTED
Hello, my name is Nicole, I am 18 years old and I am looking for work through the summer. I am looking for work throughout the end of June and all of July and August before I go back to University.
I am currently a student at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire and studying a National Certificate in Horse Management. I have been here for two years now and have a National Award in Horse Management with Distinction and also have BHS stage 1 qualification. In September I plan to study a BSc in Equine Sports Science degree.
I have been riding for 10 years now and have loaned and part shared horses for the last 4 years. I compete locally within show jumping and do some showing. I have also part shared a pregnant mare and brought up the foal for his first year. Last summer I broke in a youngster who is now used as a riding school pony for young children.
I can do all yard and stable duties including; mucking out, turning in and out, grooming, riding, poo picking fields, leading and walking out, cleaning tack and tacking up, feeding ect.

HELP NEEDED WITH RDA:
The Woodhurst group of the RDA take a small group of young children from Spring Common School in Huntingdon for Riding lessons at the riding school at Offord Cluny Nr Huntingdon on Monday Mornings from 10-12am during term time.
We are short of helpers to walk alongside the children and ponies during these lessons as we need 3 people per pony (1 to lead & 2 to walk either side of each child). If you can spare a couple of hours at this time each week during term time to come and help with the group it would be much appreciated. The children have a lovely time on the ponies and enjoy their riding so much its great to give them the opportunity but we need more helpers.
Full training will be given but sensible footwear, warm clothing and the ability to walk round for an hour (in an indoor arena) and maybe run alongside the pony for a short trot is essential.

INVITATION TO COME HUNTING
WHY NOT TRY SOMETHING NEW AND HAVE A DAY OUT WITH THE CAMBRIDGESHIRE HUNT WITH ENFIELD CHACE.
We are a very friendly Hunt, and you will be looked after by another member of the Hunt, if you wish, who will explain what is happening and what you should do.
We meet on Tuesdays and Saturdays between November and mid-March and the country ranges from the Hatfield area to Huntingdon and up to Cambridge, with a wide variety of terrain.
Some days have more open country and others may have jumps. However, you do not need to jump if you don't want to - there is always a way round, and somebody will show you the way.
We are always pleased to welcome "Newcomers" and have special introductory rates for those of you who have not hunted before or who have not subscribed for the last two years.
In case you are wondering, we are law abiding people and hunt within the law using either a bird of prey or following a trail.

HOMES WANTED FOR CHICKENS!

Brighton Animal Action will be saving c10,000 from the slaughterhouse in July and is seeking homes for them - whether you can take 1 or 2 or 100 or 200 please get in touch with me!
This is completely legal and has been organised with the farmer, who was very pleased that we managed to find good homes for c8000 of her chickens last year. These are healthy free range egg laying chickens, however after c2 years their eggs are not deemed worthy of the supermarket shelves (shell irregularities etc) and the birds are sent to face the horrors of the slaughterhouse.
Please spread the word to friends, family, animal sanctuaries etc.
